Second accused in alleged trafficking case released on bail

The second accused who is alleged to have been involved in the trafficking of young girls last year has been released on $1,000 bail bond with surety by the Suva High Court.

23-year-old Inoke Raikadroka appeared before Judge Justice Paul Madigan this afternoon charged with trafficking in children and living on earnings from prostitution and prostitution.

Raikadroka has been ordered to stay at a fixed address in Nabua and to report to Nabua Police Station.

Judge Madigan has ordered Raikadroka not to leave the Suva corridor, not to apply for a passport and not to email or use social media.

The High Court Judge said that if he breaches any condition, he will return to custody.

The case has been adjourned to 5th of April.

Raikadroka and 24-year-old Mohammed Jameer Sagaitu are allegedly involved in trafficking young girls between Suva and Nadi between May and December last year.
