The Fiji Sugar Corporation is looking at producing 190,000 tonnes of raw sugar right through to September this year.
This is according to FSC Executive Chairman Abdul Khan while highlighting they are anticipating an increase of 35,000 tonnes from what was produced last year.
Khan added that the various reforms already in place will improve productions this year.
Meanwhile last year, Fiji exported 147,000 tonnes of sugar to its only overseas buyer Tate and Lyle after producing 155,000 tonnes of raw sugar.
