Despite being neglected by her family at a young age, a 21-year-old at Dilkusha Home still has high hopes of reconciling with her family and pursuing her dreams.
Timaima Vosa Kisoko is one of the young people living at home in Nausori.
When she was 11-years-old, Kisoko’s father passed away and her mother married again.
She then found comfort at the Dilkusha Girls home.
Yesterday after receiving her Christmas gift from the Methodist Church of Fiji headquarters staff, Kisoko said she has four siblings and she would love to meet them again.
In the true Christmas spirit, Kisoso added she still wants to support her family later in life.
The Foundation Science student at Fiji National University said she wants to be a nurse and she will make sure the children at Dilkusha will have a share of her first pay.
30 children at Dilkusha Girls Home were treated to a Christmas lunch by the Methodist Church headquarters staff and were given gifts yesterday.
