More than 1300 complaints have been registered with the Consumer Council of Fiji in the last 11 months with online shopping boutiques topping the list.
Consumer Council of Fiji says up until last month they recorded 1,888 complaints out of which 234 complaints were against a particular online clothing boutique.
According to the Council, the online shopping boutique received money from consumers but have not supplied the clothing items so far.
The Council is continuing with its negotiations to ensure that consumers get their refunds.
The Council’s Alternative Dispute Resolution division also received 193 mobile products related complaints and 180 complaints against electronic goods.
The council has also received 161 landlord and tenancy complaints.
