Songs, skits and drama fill the air this afternoon as the Resurrection and Reconciliation concert gets underway at Sukuna Park in Suva.

Over 100 people of different races, ages and religions joined together for a first ever Easter Sunday worship and fellowship.

Fijivillage spoke to those who came out to enjoy the spiritual enlightenment till 8:30 this evening.

Fiji Council of Churches Interim General Secretary, Rev. James Bhagwan said that the concert is a result of the inter-church dialogue process, spanning a number of years, facilitated by ECREA and the revival of the Fiji Council of Churches.

The different religious organisations led by the Salvation Army Band participated in the march of Witness from the Flea Market to Sukuna Park.

Meanwhile participants today include the Anglican Diocese of Polynesia, Fiji Baptist Convention, Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Suva, Church of God, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Methodist Church in Fiji, St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Savuto and a number of Ecumenical musical groups such as The Commission featuring Tom Mawi as well as Sekope Raikoro and Latterain Band.
