NGO to start distributing food packs in Lautoka

A non government organization, Fiji Sevashram Sangha will start distributing food ration packs in various areas in Lautoka from today.

Member Swami Sanyuktanand said he has liaised with the Commissioner Western’s Office and they are now on their way to distribute the food packs.

He said they will keep assessing areas which need assistance.

Sanyuktanand said he has traveled from Rakiraki to Lautoka and while other areas have been affected, Lautoka is one of the most affected areas.

He added that they need volunteers who could assist them in the distribution.
