The Director for Traffic Mahesh Mishra said for Good Friday traffic was reported to be heavy along the Queens Highway.
He said so far there have been no cases of road accidents and is pleading with the public to keep it fatality free as the Easter Long Weekend continues.
Mishra said those traveling should not break road rules as this may lead to serious consequences.
Meanwhile, as of yesterday a total of 277 infringements were recorded throughout Fiji.
Of the traffic offences recorded 206 were cases of speeding while for careless driving 18 cases were recorded.
