The last hurricane warning within the Fiji group has now been cancelled as TC Evan slowly moves away.
Speaking to Fijivillage in the last hour, Nadi Duty Weather Forecaster Terry Atalifo said that as of 2.30am TC Evan is located at about 140km south of Nadi and about 105km west of Kadavu.
He added that rain will continue today.
Meanwhile the Nadi weather office say a flood warning remains in force for Wainimala, Wainibuka and Waidina River, Rewa River, low lying areas of Nausori and Rewa Delta.
A flood Warning also remains in force for all low lying areas of Navua and the adjacent to the whole of Navua River.
The Rewa river is continuing to rise.
In the last hour DISMAC confirmed that the level was at 3.45 meters and the critical level is 4 meters.
Though rain has eased in Nausori, heavy rain is being experienced in the highlands of Naitasiri which is causing the river to rise.
People in the Rewa river delta area being advised to take necessary precautions now.
Latest river levels according to Nadi Weather Office:
Navua River:
3.5m which is 1.0 above critical level.
Wainibuka River:
15.2m which is 7.2m above critical level, water is still rising.
Waidina River:
5.5m which is 0.5m above critical level, water is still rising.
