Police officers will be closely monitoring the movement of people in major towns and cities.
While a restriction order has been issued by the Commissioner Western for urban areas in the Western Division with effect from 7pm to 6am, Police will be closely monitoring the movement of people throughout the other divisions also.
ACP Rusiate Tudravu said that all divisions will be restricting the movement of people in and out of main towns and cities and will be advising those who don't need to be in town to go back to their homes and limit movement as much as possible.
This is also been done to protect businesses from those who may try to take advantage of the situation.
