The owner of the 4 flat house at Ratu Dovi Road Nadera which was completely destroyed by a fire is raising concerns on the responsive time of the National Fire Authority.
68 year old Shiri Chand said that he noticed smoke coming out from one of the flats at 12 mid night which he alerted the National Fire Authority.
Chand said that the fire trucks arrived half an hour later.
According to Chand when the firefighters were at the scene the truck started facing problems which they had to call up another fire engine.
National Fire Authority CEO John O'Connor said that the fire authorities arrived on time at the scene and that there were also no issues with water as raised by the owner.
NFA is still trying to ascertain the cause.

A mid night fire has left four families homeless after their flats at Ratu Dovi Road in Nadera were completely destroyed.
Fijivillage visited the scene this morning and spoke to the owner Shiri Chand who said that the fire started around 12 which burnt down the four flats.
According to Chand he saw smoke coming out from one of the flats which he alerted the tenants and called National Fire Authority.
Chand said luckily none of the tenants were injured.
NFA is investigating the incident.
