Suva businessman Benjamin Padarath has been further remanded when he appeared before Chief Justice Anthony Gates yesterday in the Suva High Court.
Padarath is charged with one count of forgery.
His lawyer, Filimoni Vosarogo made a bail submission to the order of bail that was initially given by high court in relation to some documents that has not been received.
Chief Justice Gates has given till Monday for the defense and prosecution to go through the affidavits before a fresh bail application is heard.
FICAC lawyer, Vincent Perera is expected to reply to the affidavit by next Thursday before Chief Justice Gates makes a ruling on the 29th of this month.
Meanwhile, Padarath who is also charged for giving false information to a public servant also appeared at the Magistrates Court and his bail application was refused yesterday.
