Former under 21 Netball team manager to the World Youth Netball Championships in the Cook Islands Selina Kuruleca handed in her World Youth Netball Championships report to Netball Fiji Executives yesterday.
A coincidence or not, it was also the day that the top brass of Netball Fiji decided that Head Coach Melissa Walker should not be part of the team to the Mini Games.
In a statement yesterday, Netball Fiji President Milika Munivai stressed that one of the major reasons in dropping Walker was the delay in the handing in of the report.
However, Kuruleca stated that action taken by Netball Fiji is uncalled for as the report is due next week, a month after the Championship in the Cook Islands.
The National Netball team will now be looked after by Unaisi Rokoura as Coach and Sainiana Khalik as Team Manager.
Team Fiji leaves our shores on Saturday for the Mini Games in the Cook Islands which kicks off on Monday.
