Club rugby could provide the answer for Benji Marshall to get some much needed playing time after a lackluster start to his Super Rugby career with the Blues.
After coming to rugby union from the NRL this year, Marshall's averaged only 33 minutes a game, playing in only five of the Blues' seven matches, prompting speculation he won't see out the full two years of his contract.
However Blues coach, Sir John Kirwan is adamant Marshall's happy at the Blues and said he just needs game time, even if it's not at Super Rugby level.
The Blues meet the Hurricanes at 7:35pm on Friday while the Rebels meet the Force at 9:40pm.
