Fiji will formally accept the Chairmanship of the Group of 77 plus China this hour.
The Prime Minister, Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama, is at the United Nations HQ in New York to accept the Chairmanship at a ceremony that will begin at 9 this morning on behalf of the Fijian Government and the people of Fiji.
The G77 is the largest voting bloc at the United Nations, and consists of more than 130 developing countries from around the world.
