Some changes have occurred in the Fiji Police Force as part of the government's streamlining and restructure process of the force.
Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office, Colonel Pio Tikoduadua said part of the restructure has resulted in some senior officers being "shipped out" or reposted.
He said this is to ensure that the country has an effective and efficient Police Force.
Colonel Tikoduadua said a few senior officers have been asked to leave the force as part of the streamlining and restructure process currently being undertaken.
Acting Police Commissioner, Joeli Baleilevuka had earlier confirmed to Fijivillage that he will concentrate on having an effective and efficient force that will deliver the best service to the people.
