The Vodafone Fiji 7s team will come up against two players with links to Fiji in the Japan 7s pool games next weekend.
This after Andrew Durutalo and Marcus Satavu were named in the USA side for the next world series leg.
Durutalo has been a regular in the US side for some time now while Satavu returns for the first time this season.
USA coach Matt Hawkins said Satavu is coming in more as a utility player as he can play in the forwards as well as the backs.
Speedster Carlin Isles have been dropped from the side as he has signed a contract with the Glassgow Warriors in Scotland.
Meanwhile, the Vodafone Fiji 7s team for the next world series leg in Japan will be named tomorrow.
Next Saturday Fiji will face France at 1pm in their first Japan 7s pool game before they face USA at 4:18pm.
The side will then face Samoa at 8:52pm.
