A time frame has now been given to vehicles that break down on the road in order for it to be removed.
According to Land Transport Authority, vehicles that have problems such as fuel refilling, defective parts falling, flat tyres causes traffic and have become an eye sore for the Land Transport Authority.
Chief Executive Officer, Naisa Tuinaceva said broken down vehicles that are left on the road for more than 20 minutes, LTA will take charge of it and move it to the nearest safe location.
He added that vehicle owners and drivers should conduct an inspection before departure.
