Speaking to more than 60 chiefs from the biggest province in Fiji at Government House, Ratu Josefa Iloilo said during these times it was a relief to see his people and his province supporting him in the decisions he has made in the past few weeks.
The Tui Vuda then asked the chiefs of Ba to live by example as he is from the province and the nation will always look up to them to take note of the decision they are making.
He then called on his people to truly worship God and always work together with the other races, and ensure that they live together in harmony.
Ratu Iloilo reminded the chiefs of Ba that the decision they have made today is important since it will also affect the next generation who are relying heavily on them to make the right choices for a better Fiji.
Leading the chiefs from Ba were the Tui Vuda's traditional spokesperson Ratu Tevita Momoedonu and the current chairman of the Ba Provincial Council Ratu Meli Saukuru.
Momoedonu presented the sevusevu to the President on behalf of the chiefs of Ba before the reprehensive from Naviti in Yasawa Mulase Bainivalu assured his Excellency that they are always with him in any decision he makes for the country.
Bainivalu said in the past weeks there were some calls made about the Tui Vuda but it is important for him to know that his province will always support him.
He then concluded his presentation with a word of assurance, that Fijivillage quotes "wherever you go we will follow, your God will be our God, and any decision you make we will stand by it and if there is anything that will separate them, it would only be death".
