The Shri Sanatan Dharam Pratinidhi Sabha has called on Hindus to practice whatever they have learnt in the past nine days during Ram Naumi celebrations to improve their lives and make Fiji a better place.
Many Hindus around the country will be celebrating the birth of Lord Rama today.
Many woke up early in the morning today conducting their prayers and started fasting which will end at around midday.
Sanatan Dharam General Secretary Vijendra Prakash said this is an opportune time for people to reform their lives.
He has also called on Hindus not to pollute the environment who will be disposing the offerings into the rivers and creeks around the country today.
