People of Rabi Island concern on not receiving many scholarships

People of Rabi Island have raised concern on not receiving many scholarships as they are a minority group.

Many people while making their submissions to the Constitution commission yesterday highlighted the issue of their people rarely getting any recognition to receive scholarships to pursue their education.

Commissioner Peni Moore said many islanders also highlighted the fact that Rabi does not have a vocational training center and they would like to see one open soon.    

Meanwhile the constitution commission will be in Savusavu today.
