The charges in relation to two former executives of the National Fire Authority are expected to be filed separately in the Magistrates court.
FICAC lawyer Elenoa Leweni referred to a court ruling delivered earlier in which it was ordered that John Low could not be produced in court within 28 days from the day of the ruling then the second accused Jone Koroi will be tried separately for the charges laid against him.
Low had gone to Australia for medical treatment in April last year.
John Low and Jone Koroi are each charged with forgery and false pretense.
Low’s lawyer Sione Fa then asked the court as to what will happen to his client when charges are served.
Magistrate Chaitanya Lakshman said that it will be up to the prosecution and that if they file charges against Low or Koroi only, then the matter will proceed from there.
The case has been adjourned to 26th of this month.
