It's a sad day for Fiji soccer as it has been revealed that some district officials are holding onto a number of top players and as a result they are not part of the National Futsal team.
Top players like Simione Tamanisau, Alvin Avinesh, Malakai Tiwa, and Alvin Singh have decided not to represent the National Futsal team as National Futsal coach said that most players do not have National pride in them.
Coach, Intiaz Khan said they had 27 players on their list however, only fourteen reported to camp.
The National futsal team has the likes of Kamal Hassan and goalkeeper, Emori Ragata who will lead the team in the OFC Futsal World cup qualifiers.
The qualifiers will be played at the Vodafone Arena from the 16th to the 20th of this month.
Fiji is pooled with Kiribati, Vanuatu and New Zealand.
