The Uprising sevens tournament has not been given the green light by the Fiji rugby union.
This was exclusively confirmed to Fijivillage by FRU Chief Executive officer Manasa Baravilala.
Baravilala said they have to put the tournament on hold because of some issues.
Baravilala added the Uprising 7s will be given the thumbs up after proper procedures are followed.
When questioned by Fijivillage, Uprising 7s organizer Culden Kamea refused to comment on the issue.
