Expect more local supermarkets to open soon which will generate more jobs.
This is after New World Limited and Rajendra Prasad Foodtown Limited who are expected to open their new outlets in the Central Division indicated that they will have more investments in the country.
New World chief commercial officer Govind Yajurvedi said that they are very positive that investing in Fiji will benefit them and that if any opportunity arises they will open a few other supermarkets around the country.
Rajendra Prasad Foodtown Limited Director Rajendra Prasad said they will surely open up more supermarkets.
Meanwhile the two supermarkets will be creating more than 200 new jobs when they open in the Central Division.
