The Fiji Barbarians 7s team will not be part of the first series of the Digicel Suva 7s next weekend.
Suva Rugby Union Chairman, Vili Rauca has confirmed they have met with the Fiji Rugby Union and have made their stand clear on why they have not allowed the side into the Suva 7s.
Rauca said they have told FRU that these players will only be allowed to play in their respective clubs during the Suva 7s.
Today is the closing dates for clubs to pay their entry fees and they have more than 70 teams who have shown their interest but they will only allow the first 64 teams who will pay their fees.
The two finalists in the Suva 7s series will play in the Suva International 7s in January.
