The Pacific Forum Ministerial Contact Group which has arrived in the country will have a combined meeting with former Prime Minister, Laisenia Qarase, Labour Party leader, Mahendra Chaudhry and former Opposition Leader Mick Beddoes tomorrow.
After meetings with Acting Prime Minister, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum on Fiji's progress towards elections, the group is expected to meet the three politicians.
Chaudhry is happy that the group is meeting all the key stakeholders.
Members of the group are Australian Foreign Minister Bob Carr, NZ Foreign Minister Murray McCully, Papua New Guinea Minister for Foreign Affairs Ano Pala, Samoan Minister of Justice Fiame Naomi Mata'afa, Tuvalu's Minister for Foreign Affairs Apisai Ielemia and Vanuatu Foreign Minister Alfred Carlot.
Acting Prime Minister, Sayed-Khaiyum hopes the group is coming today with an intention to support Fiji to hold truly democratic elections in September 2014.
However before leaving Australia, Bob Carr said removing sanctions against Fiji is a long way off.
McCully arrived earlier today and says he is ready to find out what is happening on the ground.
The group will be hosted at a reception at Borron House this evening.
