A 27-year-old manager of a fishing company will be appearing in the Suva Magistrates Court this morning charged for the offence of accessory after the fact of murder.
On the 16th of this month, a 39-year-old male who is a crew of a fishing vessel was conveyed to the Suva Private Hospital complaining of shortness of breath however was pronounced dead on arrival.
However, after the post mortem was conducted, the result showed the deceased died of injuries sustained as a result of an alleged assault.
Investigations went on to reveal that the accused allegedly assaulted the deceased after which he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
