Woman interviewed over discovery of foetus

A woman is being interviewed by police in relation to a discovery of a foetus in a pit toilet at a village in Naitasiri yesterday.

According to police they dug up the pit toilet and discovered the remains of the foetus.

Meanwhile, police have managed to re-capture the last remand prisoner 24 year old Iowane Benedito yesterday afternoon who escaped from Korovou Prison more than a week ago.

According to police, they have also arrested a twenty year old associate of Benedito for allegedly harboring him at Muslim League Estate in Suva.
