Occasional heavy rain expected

Occasional heavy rain is expected for the Northern parts of the country including Vanua Levu, Taveuni, nearby smaller islands and the Northern Lau group.

Weather forecasters say this may cause localized flash flooding as heavy rain is also expected to affect the Western and Central parts of the country from tomorrow.

A trough of low pressure is lying to the west of Fiji. Rain is expected to ease by Saturday.
