Residents in Rakiraki and Tavua have been asked to store water as you might experience water disruptions due to the heavy rain currently being experienced.
Divisional Western Water Engineer Samuela Tubui said residents are likely to experience water disruptions throughout the day as they are anticipating the flood waters in Rakiraki to affect their pumping stations.
Meanwhile rainfall has stopped in Rakiraki and floodwaters on Naqoro flats, and flood water at the Rakiraki bus stand and market is slowly receding.
Part of Kings Road near Rakiraki is still flooded and is closed to all traffic. Flood waters on roads like Gallau Rd, Waimari Rd, FSC Caulasi Rd, Rawasa and Korotale Rd and some houses behind Rakiraki town are slowing receding
Meanwhile, Ba police confirms that Toge Bridge in Ba is still under flood waters however rainfall has also stopped in Ba.
