Italy have pulled off a surprise win over a much favored Germany side 2-1 to book a spot in the EURO 2012 final against defending champions Spain.
Mario Balotelli scored twice for Italy in the first half from a header before driving home a thumping shot.
Italy last won the EURO in 1968 after beating Yugoslavia 2-0 in the final.
