7s side yet to confirm participation at Uprising 7s
The Fiji rugby sevens team has not confirmed its participation at the Uprising Sevens tournament next month.

Digicel Fiji Sevens team assistant coach Timoci Wainiqolo said they do not have any problem in taking part as a buildup to the Wellington Sevens but he has to discuss the issue with head coach Alifereti Dere.

Wainiqolo added last year, two shadow national sides took part in the tournament where the Fiji Warriors lost to Wardens in the final 31-26.

Meanwhile, Uprising Sevens organizer Culden Kamea said he will meet with the Fiji Rugby Union on Monday.

The Uprising Sevens will be held on the 18th and 19th of next month at Churchill Park.
