Fiji will need to work overtime in Dubai this weekend as other teams like South Africa also want to win the tournament.
South Africa has won three times in Dubai since the series started in 1999.
Coach Paul Treu told irb.com that their loss to Fiji in the Gold Coast Sevens semifinal is still haunting them.
Meanwhile, Fiji will meet Spain at 6.50pm this Friday, followed by Scotland at 10.36pm and then the final pool game is against Kenya at 3.58 on Saturday morning.
