Elder, first up for Fiji in Olympics today

Robert Elder will be the first to represent the country today at the London Olympics 2012.

He will be competing in the Olympic Archery individual event

Meanwhile, the first world records of London 2012 have been set, with the South Koreans setting world bests in the men's archery competition in both the individual and team events.

Im Dong Hyu broke his own 72-arrow mark of 696 by three points smashing the world record by 18 points.

The 2012 London Olympics opening ceremony is now underway with the 205 competing teams being introduced at the moment.
