Court awaits psychiatric report for murder case

The case of a Nadi man charged with murder and attempted murder was called before the Suva Magistrates Court this morning.

It is alleged that Subarmani Naidu attacked his two-year-old nephew and his 74-year-old great grandmother with a cane knife in Nadi in February this year.

The court still awaits a report from the St Giles Psychiatric Hospital.

Naidu’s case has been adjourned to 12th July.
