It is about time that women be given a voice when it comes to trade union matters and trade dealings with international donors.
This is the call from Fiji Trade Union Congress President Daniel Urai speaking at the Fiji Trade Union Congress forty-second Biennial Congress meeting where youth representatives and the women’s wing office bearers were chosen.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Urai said that minority groups need to be given a voice.
Urai also confirmed that they will put together proposals which they will table to the interim government after their meeting.
