FNPF reactivates withdrawal assistance for cyclone affected
The Fiji National Provident Fund Board has reactivated the Natural Disaster Partial Withdrawal Assistance of $1,000 for its members affected by Cyclone Evan.

FNPF Acting CEO Alipate Waqairawai said the Board’s approval, which includes the wavering of the $10 processing fee, was based on humanitarian grounds to provide some relief to affected members.

He said FNPF will liaise closely with Government officials in this exercise to determine those that will be assisted, while deploying onsite teams to the worst affected areas from next Wednesday.

He has also warned that those intending to defraud or make false claims to the Fund will be taken to task.
