Initial Damage Assessments completed

Initial Damage Assessments have been completed while cleanup in affected areas continues with distribution of food ration and relief supplies to Cyclone Evan victims.

DISMAC said restoration of critical facilities and institutions and immediate and short term recovery is underway.

All the Ministries and Departments have to submit their consolidated or finalised damage assessments and rehabilitation plans and requirements to the Divisional Emergency Operations Centre by tomorrow.
