The story of the street urchin who uses the help of a genie to win the heart of Princess Jasmine will be turned into a musical production by 120 students of International School Suva.
Never before has the school put together the Aladdin and the Magic Lamp musical and according to Year 12 student and director Meggan Turner it will be spectacular.
Turner added that though the musical is close to the original Aladdin the ISS production will also include new characters and scenes.
Along with Turner other students are also put in charge of different parts of the production like Set Design, Backstage, Lighting and Costume.
For the students rehearsals will continue next week with Aladdin and the Magic Lamp to be staged on the 8th and 9th of May at ISS.
Tickets will also start selling at the school from tomorrow.
