Security officers put out fire at High Court building
Two security officers from the Government Buildings put out a fire which had started in one of the wooden High Court buildings last night.

The fire started at about 10.30pm and the two security officers noticed the smoke coming out of the building.

When they rushed to the scene, they found a container of benzine.

They also noticed that the bottom part of the building was on fire.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the security officers managed to put out the fire and investigations are now underway.

No one has been questioned as yet.

The National Fire Authority confirmed that a call was received at 10.30 last night.

However, when they reached the scene, the fire was already put out.
