Father proud of son’s achievements

Father proud of son’s achievements
“It has always been my dream that one day one of my children would turn out to be successful.”

This said Voli Komai the father of Assemblies of God High School Under 18 centre Matthew Vocea after securing a scholarship to play and study at St Kevin’s College in New Zealand.

Speaking to our sister station Viti FM, Komai said Vocea is the eldest of his seven children and for him to study abroad is a proud moment for the family.

Vocea left for New Zealand three weeks ago and has featured twice for St Kevin’s College winning both matches.

Komai emotionally remembers that his struggle of raising his seven children has paid off.

Meanwhile, Vocea was part of the Assemblies of God Under 18 side which lost to QVS in last year’s Deans Trophy semifinal.
