This Christmas residents of Father Law Home in Lami got a pleasant surprise when the President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau paid them a visit.
According to Sister Mere Lauwai of Father Law Home most families of the residents do not visit so the President dropping in on Christmas Day was indeed special.
The Head of State spent his Christmas day also visiting the Navua Hospital, the Naboro and Korovou Prisons, St Giles Hospital, the Colonial War Memorial Hospital and other homes for the elderly.
