2 boats with supplies leave for Yasawas
Two boats left Lautoka for the Yasawas this morning, one of the boats the Vatulawa is transporting water rations whilst the MV Iloilovatu, is taking food supply to those affected on the island.

This is according to National Disaster Management Officer Manasa Tagicakibau.

The amount of food being taken he said is enough to last the villages a month.

On board the Vatulawa is the Commissioner Western and a team from the Water Authority of Fiji, who along with water rations are also taking hoses and pumps.

Meanwhile, a total of 2,618 evacuees are at the 55 Evacuation centres today with the majority of these centres still open are those in the West.

According to Tagicakibau once all damage assessments of Tropical Cyclone Evan is completed, the data will then be collated and submitted to cabinet as A National plan.
