Hockey men lose final game
The national men’s hockey side failed to claim their first win at the world hockey league round two in India after a 7-3 loss to Oman in their last match of the tournament.

Fiji’s goals were scored by Hector Smith, James Saqacala and Leevan Dutta.

Fiji led 2-1 at halftime but Oman came back strongly in the second half where they scored two goals within a 100 seconds and netted another two goals in the final few minutes to confirm their place as fifth place finishers while Fiji finished in  sixth place.

Meanwhile, the national women=s team lost 4 nil to Kazakhstan.
