Shopping centers around the country have been urged to extend their opening hours to provide people the opportunity to do last minute shopping.
President of Fiji Retailers Association, Himmat Lodhia said that shops have been given approval to open till late.
Some Major shops are expected to be open till midnight while some only up to 9pm.
Lodhia said that good sale is being experienced with most businesses.
He added that retailers are to continue to offer new and lower prices to the customers during this festive season.
