Nine selectors have qualified to be on the selection committee for the Digicel Fiji 7s team.
According to the Fiji Rugby Union's National Coaching Director Franck Boivert, the nine include Sailosi Naiteqe senior who completed his level 2 last week, Alifereti Doviverata, Manasa Bari, Jope Tuikabe, Aisea Tuilevu, Fiji 7s Head Coach Alifereti Dere, Timoci Wainiqolo, Red Rock Coach Lote Rasiga and Kali Kalisito have all qualified to be on the committee and are expected to be at the 7s fitness test later this month.
Their qualifications include being IRB Level 2 students who have been taught the selection process which is selecting the players according to the team and player's profile.
Boivert said they want to develop a good team for Fiji and there is a solid module on the team selection process that they have to go through during the course and the selectors are now qualified and are all successful renowned coaches in Fiji.
