Labasa airport runway to be further inspected tomorrow
The Labasa airport runway will be inspected further by independent engineers tomorrow.

Pacific Sun general manager Shaenaz Voss said they will keep flights on hold between Suva or Nadi and Labasa until Thursday.

She added Pacific Sun continues to run supplementary services into Savusavu from Suva and Nadi until Labasa airport can resume ATR-42 operations.

Meanwhile, Airports Fiji Limited chairman Adrian Sofield said the airport runway has been certified safe by the Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji, however, Pacific Sun has issues landing to which AFL is addressing.
