England out to create history

England out to create history
England will be out to create history when they take on Italy tomorrow in the last quarterfinal of the EURO 2012.

England has never gone past the quarter final stages in the Euro championship.

Captain Steven Gerard said they will use the pain of past disappointments at major tournaments as inspiration in their quarterfinal clash.

The two sides have met 22 times with Italy winning 9 games while there have been 6 draws.

The England/Italy match kicks off 6.45 tomorrow morning.

Meanwhile Spain has booked their place in the semifinal after beating France 2-0.
