RFMF engineers told to begin repairs on damaged school
After witnessing firsthand the damage to education facilities at Bukama School in the Yasawa Group caused by TC Evan, the Prime Minister has called for immediate restoration.

Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama has expressed concern that 200 students who depend on the school will be affected and has instructed engineers from the Republic of Fiji Military Forces to begin construction work as soon as possible. 

Bemama village was severely affected with several houses destroyed along with vegetation.

Village headman of Bukama Tomasi Ratusoqosoqo said for Commodore Bainimarama to visit and see for himself the situation that they are in after the cyclone brings a sigh of relief for everyone.

Commdore Bainimarama and his team are visiting other cyclone stricken villages in the Yasawa Group.
