JICA sends relief items to Fiji

JICA sends relief items to Fiji
More assistance is on its way for victims of Tropical Cyclone Evan.

An official request by Fiji Government has resulted in Japan International Cooperation Agency agreeing to send 30 units of tents, 70 pieces of tarpaulins, 150 sleeping mats and 20 units of 220v of power generators which total up to around FJD$250,000 whereby approximately FJD$260,000 will be spent on the transportation of these items to Fiji.

These items will be arriving shortly and will be handed over to the most affected areas with the help of Ministry of Provincial Development and National Disaster Management office.
